I'm happy to announce that the version 0.2.0 of Genggoro Dictionary Server (GDS) has just been released. This version fixes some annoying issues found on the previous version and adds some useful features to GDS-A.
Fixed an issue where a vertical scrollbar doesn't appear even if search results are longer than the frame containing them (GDS-A, GDS-B).
This version relies less on Chrome's deprecated features (GDS-A, GDS-B)
Added an option to assign a hotkey (keyboard shortcut) to launch the dictionary manager (GDS-A).
Added an option to assign different hotkeys (GDS-A):
to launch the search tool.
to launch the search tool and copy the content of clipboard.
to launch the search tool and query the content of clipboard.
Added an option to use PRIMARY selection (instead of CLIPBOARD selection) when "launch the search tool and copy/query" hotkeys mentioned above are invoked (GDS-A for Linux).
To enable this feature, check "Use the PRIMARY selection" field in the settings window and follow the instructions on this page to install a program that allows Chrome apps/extensions to get access to X11's PRIMARY selection.
